Python Developer Job Description

We are hiring a Python Developer to build the services, APIs, and data pipelines behind our products. You will write clean, idiomatic Python, ship well-tested code, and work across web backends, automation, and data-heavy workloads. Responsibilities

• Build web services and APIs with frameworks like Django, FastAPI, or Flask
• Design and optimize database access with SQLAlchemy or the Django ORM
• Write automated tests with pytest and maintain strong coverage
• Develop data pipelines and batch jobs using tools like Celery or Airflow
• Integrate third-party APIs and internal services with clean abstractions
• Profile and optimize slow code paths, queries, and memory usage
• Package and deploy services with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Add type hints and enforce quality with linting and static analysis
• Write clear documentation and maintainable, well-structured modules
• Review pull requests and share Python best practices with the team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent hands-on experience
• 3 or more years building applications or services in Python
• Strong grasp of at least one major web framework such as Django or FastAPI
• Solid understanding of databases, SQL, and API design
• Experience writing automated tests and shipping code to production
