Growth Marketing Manager Job Description

About the role

We are seeking a Growth Marketing Manager to own our acquisition and retention experiments end to end. You will design tests, build funnels, and dig into the data to find the levers that move signups, activation, and revenue. The ideal candidate is part marketer and part analyst, energized by rapid iteration and comfortable owning a number.

Key responsibilities

  • Run a high-velocity experimentation roadmap across the funnel
  • Own acquisition, activation, and retention metrics
  • Turn funnel and cohort data into growth decisions

Responsibilities

  • Design and prioritize A/B and multivariate experiments across the funnel
  • Manage paid acquisition channels and optimize cost per acquisition
  • Build and refine onboarding and activation flows to lift conversion
  • Analyze cohorts, retention curves, and funnel drop-off to find growth levers
  • Set up and maintain tracking, attribution, and event instrumentation
  • Run lifecycle and referral programs to drive repeat engagement
  • Build dashboards that report on CAC, LTV, and channel performance
  • Partner with product on in-app experiments and feature adoption
  • Manage the growth budget and reallocate spend toward what works
  • Document experiment results and scale the winners across channels

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, analytics, or a related field
  • 4 or more years in growth, performance, or digital marketing
  • Hands-on experience running paid channels and structured A/B tests
  • Strong analytical skills, including comfort with SQL or analytics tools
  • A track record of hitting acquisition, activation, or retention targets
