Performance Marketer Job Description
About the role
We are looking for a Performance Marketer to scale our paid acquisition profitably across search, social, and beyond. You will own campaign strategy, budgets, and daily optimization, always tying spend back to pipeline and revenue. This role is ideal for someone who lives in the data, tests relentlessly, and knows how to grow spend without letting efficiency slip.
Key responsibilities
- Own paid acquisition strategy and budget across channels
- Optimize campaigns daily against CPA and ROAS targets
- Test creative, audiences, and landing pages to scale efficiently
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Plan and launch paid campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, and other performance channels
- Manage daily bids, budgets, and pacing to hit CPA and ROAS targets
- Design and run structured A/B tests on creative, audiences, and landing pages
- Build audience segments, lookalikes, and retargeting flows
- Set up conversion tracking, pixels, and server-side events accurately
- Analyze campaign data and reallocate spend to the top-performing segments
- Partner with creative on high-performing ad concepts and iterations
- Forecast spend and returns, then report on pipeline and revenue impact
- Run incrementality and attribution analysis to validate true channel impact
- Scout and test new channels and formats to diversify acquisition
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, economics, or a related field
- 3 or more years running paid acquisition with direct budget ownership
- Proven record scaling spend while holding CPA or ROAS targets
- Deep hands-on experience with Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager
- Strong analytical skills with conversion tracking and attribution
