Product Marketing Manager Job Description

Day-to-day responsibilities
- Craft positioning and messaging frameworks grounded in customer research
- Plan and execute product and feature launches across teams
- Build sales enablement assets like decks, one-pagers, and battle cards
- Run win-loss and competitive analysis to sharpen differentiation
- Interview customers to understand buying triggers and objections
- Define target personas and segments with marketing and product
- Write value-driven copy for landing pages, emails, and product content
- Partner with demand generation on campaign narrative and messaging
- Track launch and adoption metrics and iterate on messaging that lags
- Train sales and customer success on new features and positioning
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field
- 4 or more years in product marketing or a related marketing role
- Proven record leading product launches from planning through execution
- Experience building positioning and enabling a sales team with it
- Strong writing skills and comfort translating features into buyer value
