What is 360-Degree Feedback?
A formal, structured multi-rater evaluation methodology where feedback on an employee's competencies is collected from a full circle of workplace relationships: managers, peers, direct reports, and the employee themselves, using validated questionnaires and vendor-administered platforms.
Why it matters in hiring
360-Degree Feedback comes up whenever teams compare candidates, set policy or report on people data. Getting the definition right keeps decisions consistent, which is the same reason springhire scores every applicant against the same criteria rather than on impression.
