Terms of Service

springhire ("springhire", "we", "us") provides AI-powered skills testing and screening software for hiring teams, along with a library of free HR tools, available at springhire.io and its subdomains (together, the "Service").

By accessing the Service, creating an account, or purchasing a subscription you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company, and "you" refers to the company.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@springhire.io if you suspect unauthorized use.

Accounts are for business use by hiring teams. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to discriminate against candidates on grounds protected by applicable law.
• Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or contains malware.
• Attempt to probe, breach, or overload our systems, or access data that is not yours.
• Resell, sublicense, or copy the Service or its test content without our written permission.
• Use automated means to scrape the Service beyond what our robots.txt permits.

When you invite candidates to assessments, you are the controller of that candidate data and we process it on your behalf to deliver the Service. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to assess your candidates and for complying with employment and data protection laws that apply to you.

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual cycle and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account settings; access continues until the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled per our Refund Policy at springhire.io/refunds.

We may change prices with at least 30 days notice; changes apply from your next billing cycle.

We own the Service, including software, test content, question banks, and branding. You keep ownership of the content you upload (job descriptions, questions you author, company details) and grant us a licence to process it to provide the Service.

Parts of the Service use artificial intelligence to generate questions, score answers, and summarize results. AI output can contain errors and is provided to support, not replace, your hiring judgment. You are responsible for final hiring decisions.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for hiring decisions you make.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with notice where practicable. On termination we delete or return your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. For material changes we will give at least 14 days notice by email or in-product notice. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
