What is Acceptable Use Policy?
A policy that defines the rules and boundaries for how employees can use company-provided technology resources, including computers, networks, email, internet access, software, and data systems.
Why it matters in hiring
Acceptable Use Policy comes up whenever teams compare candidates, set policy or report on people data. Getting the definition right keeps decisions consistent, which is the same reason springhire scores every applicant against the same criteria rather than on impression.
