What is Anti-Bribery Policy?

A formal corporate policy that prohibits employees, officers, agents, and third parties acting on the company's behalf from offering, promising, giving, or receiving bribes, kickbacks, or improper payments to obtain or retain business or gain an unfair advantage.

Why it matters in hiring

Anti-Bribery Policy comes up whenever teams compare candidates, set policy or report on people data. Getting the definition right keeps decisions consistent, which is the same reason springhire scores every applicant against the same criteria rather than on impression.
