What is Constructive Dismissal?
A legal concept where an employee resigns because the employer made working conditions so intolerable that the employee had no reasonable choice but to leave, treating the resignation as an employer-caused termination.
Why it matters in hiring
Constructive Dismissal comes up whenever teams compare candidates, set policy or report on people data. Getting the definition right keeps decisions consistent, which is the same reason springhire scores every applicant against the same criteria rather than on impression.
