What is Emergency Action Plan?
A written document required by OSHA that describes the procedures employees must follow during workplace emergencies such as fires, severe weather, chemical releases, or active threats, including evacuation routes, assembly points, and designated responsibilities.
Why it matters in hiring
Emergency Action Plan comes up whenever teams compare candidates, set policy or report on people data. Getting the definition right keeps decisions consistent, which is the same reason springhire scores every applicant against the same criteria rather than on impression.
