What is Employee of the Month?

A formal recognition program that selects and celebrates one employee each month for outstanding performance, exemplary behavior, or significant contributions. It's one of the most common recognition programs globally but also one of the most debated.

Why it matters in hiring

Employee of the Month comes up whenever teams compare candidates, set policy or report on people data. Getting the definition right keeps decisions consistent, which is the same reason springhire scores every applicant against the same criteria rather than on impression.
