What is Engagement Survey?

A structured questionnaire, usually 40 to 80 questions, that measures how emotionally committed and motivated employees are toward their work, their team, and the organization as a whole.

Why it matters in hiring

Engagement Survey comes up whenever teams compare candidates, set policy or report on people data. Getting the definition right keeps decisions consistent, which is the same reason springhire scores every applicant against the same criteria rather than on impression.
