What is Flextime?
A work arrangement that gives employees some degree of choice over their daily start and end times, typically within boundaries set by the employer, while still requiring a standard number of total hours per week or pay period.
Why it matters in hiring
Flextime comes up whenever teams compare candidates, set policy or report on people data. Getting the definition right keeps decisions consistent, which is the same reason springhire scores every applicant against the same criteria rather than on impression.
