What is Form 12BB?
An Indian income tax form that salaried employees submit to their employer at the start of each financial year, declaring investments and expenses to claim tax deductions and exemptions for TDS calculation purposes.
Why it matters in hiring
Form 12BB comes up whenever teams compare candidates, set policy or report on people data. Getting the definition right keeps decisions consistent, which is the same reason springhire scores every applicant against the same criteria rather than on impression.
