What is Gender Pay Gap Reporting?
A UK legal requirement under the Equality Act 2010 for employers with 250 or more employees to annually calculate and publish six metrics showing the pay and bonus gap between male and female employees.
Why it matters in hiring
Gender Pay Gap Reporting comes up whenever teams compare candidates, set policy or report on people data. Getting the definition right keeps decisions consistent, which is the same reason springhire scores every applicant against the same criteria rather than on impression.
