What is H-1B Visa?
A non-immigrant US work visa that allows American employers to temporarily hire foreign workers in specialty occupations requiring at least a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a specific field, subject to an annual cap of 85,000 new visas.
Why it matters in hiring
H-1B Visa comes up whenever teams compare candidates, set policy or report on people data. Getting the definition right keeps decisions consistent, which is the same reason springhire scores every applicant against the same criteria rather than on impression.
