What is I-9 Form?
A US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) form that every employer must complete for each new hire to verify the employee's identity and legal authorization to work in the United States.
Why it matters in hiring
I-9 Form comes up whenever teams compare candidates, set policy or report on people data. Getting the definition right keeps decisions consistent, which is the same reason springhire scores every applicant against the same criteria rather than on impression.
