HR Glossary
What is Internal Complaints Committee (ICC)?
A mandatory body constituted under India's POSH Act by every employer with 10 or more employees, responsible for receiving, investigating, and resolving complaints of sexual harassment at the workplace.
Why it matters in hiring
Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) comes up whenever teams compare candidates, set policy or report on people data. Getting the definition right keeps decisions consistent, which is the same reason springhire scores every applicant against the same criteria rather than on impression.
