What is Pay Stub (Payslip)?
A document provided to employees with each paycheck showing their gross earnings, itemized deductions, tax withholdings, and net pay for the current pay period and year-to-date totals.
Why it matters in hiring
Pay Stub (Payslip) comes up whenever teams compare candidates, set policy or report on people data. Getting the definition right keeps decisions consistent, which is the same reason springhire scores every applicant against the same criteria rather than on impression.
