HR Glossary
What is People Strategy?
A long-term plan that aligns an organization's workforce priorities, culture, talent practices, and employee experience with its business strategy, defining how the company will attract, develop, engage, and retain the people needed to achieve its goals.
Why it matters in hiring
People Strategy comes up whenever teams compare candidates, set policy or report on people data. Getting the definition right keeps decisions consistent, which is the same reason springhire scores every applicant against the same criteria rather than on impression.
