What is Point Factor Method?
A quantitative job evaluation technique that assigns numerical points to predefined compensable factors (such as skill, effort, responsibility, and working conditions) to determine the relative worth of each job within an organization's pay structure.
Why it matters in hiring
Point Factor Method comes up whenever teams compare candidates, set policy or report on people data. Getting the definition right keeps decisions consistent, which is the same reason springhire scores every applicant against the same criteria rather than on impression.
