What is RACI Matrix?

A responsibility assignment chart that maps every task or deliverable to four roles: Responsible (does the work), Accountable (owns the outcome), Consulted (provides input), and Informed (receives updates).

Why it matters in hiring

RACI Matrix comes up whenever teams compare candidates, set policy or report on people data. Getting the definition right keeps decisions consistent, which is the same reason springhire scores every applicant against the same criteria rather than on impression.
