What is Restricted Stock Units (RSU)?
A form of equity compensation where the employer promises to deliver a specific number of company shares to an employee once predetermined vesting conditions are met, typically time-based.
Why it matters in hiring
Restricted Stock Units (RSU) comes up whenever teams compare candidates, set policy or report on people data. Getting the definition right keeps decisions consistent, which is the same reason springhire scores every applicant against the same criteria rather than on impression.
