What is Time to Hire?
A recruiting metric that measures the number of days between when a candidate enters the hiring pipeline (applies or is sourced) and when they accept a job offer, reflecting how quickly a company moves a specific candidate through its hiring process.
Why it matters in hiring
Time to Hire comes up whenever teams compare candidates, set policy or report on people data. Getting the definition right keeps decisions consistent, which is the same reason springhire scores every applicant against the same criteria rather than on impression.
