HR Glossary
What is Workplace Bullying?
Repeated, unreasonable behavior directed toward an employee or group of employees that creates a risk to health and safety, including verbal abuse, intimidation, exclusion, sabotage of work, and persistent humiliation.
Why it matters in hiring
Workplace Bullying comes up whenever teams compare candidates, set policy or report on people data. Getting the definition right keeps decisions consistent, which is the same reason springhire scores every applicant against the same criteria rather than on impression.
