What is Zero-Hour Contract?
An employment agreement where the employer is not obligated to provide a minimum number of working hours and the worker is not obligated to accept any hours offered.
Why it matters in hiring
Zero-Hour Contract comes up whenever teams compare candidates, set policy or report on people data. Getting the definition right keeps decisions consistent, which is the same reason springhire scores every applicant against the same criteria rather than on impression.
