Everything about the Talent Acquisition Test
This test is one part of screening every applicant from one link: add a one-way video interview and resume scoring, and compare candidates in one report.
What is the Talent Acquisition Test?
The Talent Acquisition Test is built for in-house and agency recruiters. Sourcing questions cover Boolean search, passive candidates, referrals, job ads and diversity of the pipeline. Screening questions cover structured screening, knockout questions, resume red flags, bias and candidate experience. Selection questions cover structured interviews, scorecards, assessments, reference checks and avoiding illegal questions. Offer and metrics questions cover offer negotiation, counteroffers, time to hire, source of hire, offer acceptance rate and quality of hire. The questions are general across industries and do not depend on a particular ATS.
What the Talent Acquisition Test does not measure
It does not measure a recruiter's network, sales skill with hiring managers or knowledge of local employment law. Check those in a structured interview.
How does the Talent Acquisition Test work?
The Talent Acquisition Test is an auto-scored multiple-choice test. Each candidate answers 20 questions drawn at random from a bank of 60, so two candidates rarely see the same set, and most finish in 8 to 12 minutes. The questions are spread evenly across sourcing, screening, selection and offers and metrics, with a mix of easy, medium and hard items, and the report shows a score for each area as well as an overall score.
Why is the Talent Acquisition Test important to employers?
Recruiters shape every hire you make. One who sources narrowly, screens inconsistently or asks the wrong questions in interview costs you strong candidates and creates legal risk. This test shows who runs a fair, structured, measured process, so your hiring improves with each role they fill.
